Webinar: Recent developments in South African environmental law

Recent developments within the environmental law space have certain implications for businesses operating in South Africa. Our Public Law and Regulatory Practice is hosting a three-part webinar series to discuss these significant changes. The first session will focus on the following recent environmental judgments:

  • The sale of water rights.
  • Current and future waste management practices.
  • Private criminal prosecutions following the reflection of unlawful activities in terms of section 24G of the National Environmental Management Act 107 of 1998.

The panel includes members of our Public Law and Regulatory Practice – Claire Tucker, Michael Vermaak, Wandisile Mandlana and Carmen Bradfield.
